Ten inch diameter trees were blown over along Montana Highway 37. Hail 0.5 to 0.75 inches in diameter was also reported.

A weak upper level low pressure system moved across Western Montana on the evening and night of 07/01/2008. This low interacted with a moist and unstable atmosphere and resulted in severe thunderstorms across Northwest and West Central Montana.
