Event narrative

Emergency Manager reported on Friday November 8 at 12 PM AST a landslide along two houses near Calle 1 Barrio Paraiso Parcela Saldaa in Fajardo. EM Director visited the area on November 11 and reported that the landslide extended up to 5 feet.

Wider weather episode

Wet and unstable weather conditions persisted on Nov 5th onwards due to an upper-level trough and a surface frontal boundary through midweek, followed by the proximity of an area of low pressure by the 7th, heightening flooding and lightning risks. Flooding or Flash Flooding was reported in San Juan, Naguabo, Carolina and Guaynabo. A landslide was also reported on the 8th at Fajardo.
