Area observations recorded visibility under one quarter mile overnight and through the morning.

Widespread dense fog developed the night of November 14th and continued through the morning of November 15th. Visibility was under one quarter mile across much of Iowa during this time with a Dense Fog Advisory in effect. This resulted in a car crash with one fatality and two injuries in northern Iowa.
