A multi-day lake-effect snow event occurred across northern Herkimer County and far western portions of Hamilton County from November 29 to December 2, 2024. The heaviest snows occurred along and north of Route 28, including in Old Forge and Inlet, and west of Routes 28N and 30 where 12 to 24 inches of snow fell.
