A cold front and upper-level shortwave trough brought some light snow to much of the area. A period of heavier upslope snowfall developed over the northern Black Hills during the overnight hours. Amounts of 3 to 7 inches were noted over the higher elevations. Gusty winds produced some blowing snow and caused travel impacts.
