Event narrative

The entire county was designated in Severe Drought (D2) at the beginning of the month.

Above normal precipitation from October 29th through November 7th brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across county. The precipitation total at Sturgeon Bay during this period was 3.68 inches. Additional precipitation during the latter half of the month resulted in Door County only being designated in Abnormally Dry (D0) conditions at the end of the month.

Wider weather episode

Drought that developed in September continued across northern Wisconsin into November. Above normal precipitation brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across portions of northern Wisconsin during the month.
