Event narrative

The northern half of Marinette County was designated in Severe Drought (D2) at the beginning of the month. Above normal precipitation from October 29th through November 7th brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across the northern half of the county. The precipitation total at Wausaukee during this period was 3.51 inches. Additional precipitation during the latter half of the month only resulted in much of the northern half of Marinette County being designated in Moderate Drought (D1) or Abnormally Dry (D0) at the end of the month.

Wider weather episode

Drought that developed in September continued across northern Wisconsin into November. Above normal precipitation brought an end to the Severe Drought (D2) across portions of northern Wisconsin during the month.
