Winds gusted to 60 mph at the Zortman BLM observation site at 232 pm July 16th.

A series of cold fronts moved through the area with high winds mainly occurring in the Little Rocky Mountains of southwest Phillips county. Gusts over 50 mph occurred in other locations mainly in the eastern portions of the area.
