AWOS station K9S9 in Lexington recorded a max gust of 60 mph, and Co-Op station DW5434 near Heppner recorded a max gust of 58 mph late the evening of the 19th, with strong gusts lasting into the early morning hours of the 20th.

Wider weather episode

A strong band of SW flow aloft associated with a deep offshore low allowed for very strong wind gusts to occur across the foothills of the Blue Mountains during the overnight period of November 19-20.
