The storm began early on the 5th with a mix of snow and sleet falling through the morning. After a brief break in the afternoon, snow fell again in the evening. A total of 6 to 10 inches of snow and sleet fell across the county. Up to 1 inch of this fell in the form of sleet. Centralia reported 6.3 inches.
