The storm began early on the 5th with snow falling through the morning. Snowfall rates exceeded 1 inch per hour for a few hours around midday. After a brief break in the afternoon, snow fell again in the evening. A total of 6 to 10 inches of snow fell across the county. Hardin reported 8.9 inches.
