Strong southeast winds were recorded in the Shasta Valley of Siskiyou County. Peak speeds reported included: Gazelle at 40 mph gusting to 79 mph, North Weed at 50 mph gusting to 78 mph, West Weed at 47 mph gusting to 69 mph, Montague Siskiyou County Airport ASOS at 49 mph gusting to 66 mph, East Lake Shastina at 37 mph gusting to 68 mph, and Iron Gate West at 37 mph gusting to 58 mph.

A strong cold front associated with deep low pressure moving toward Vancouver Island brought high winds to southern Oregon and northern California.
