Frequent gusts between 55 and 60 MPH recorded at the Bear Creek WYDOT sensor along Interstate 25. The maximum gust was 62 MPH and occurred at 11:02 PM MST on the 23rd.
Wider weather episode
An incoming cold front lead to a strong pressure gradient over much of southeast Wyoming. This lead to high winds in the usual wind prone areas as well as some adjacent areas.
