According to Snotel stations, estimate snowfall amounts of 7 to 17 inches fell in the Park and Gore Range. The heaviest snowfall report came from the Columbine Snotel where an estimate 17 inches of snow fell.

Wider weather episode

Another round of mountain snow occurred the 29th and 30th of December. In addition to the snowfall windy conditions also prevailed with gusts in the valleys up to 40 mph. Above tree line winds gusts reached 60-80 mph. The heaviest snowfall occurred on the Park and Gore Ranges.
