The tide level at Cameron reached 2.01 feet above MHHW at high tide. Waves over washed Highway 82 near Holly Beach for a couple hours during the event in isolated locations.

Wider weather episode

Strong south winds developed ahead of an approaching cold front pushing the tides above normal. The high tides produced minor flooding along the Cameron Parish coast.
