The mesonet station ODT76 Megler Bridge recorded at peak gust of 80 mph at 12/18 0106 PST and the mesonet station 3CL03 Clatsop Spit near Warrenton measured a Peak gust of 68 mph 12/18 0130.

Wider weather episode

The passage of a warm frontal boundary and mature surface low facilitated high winds along the coast into the coast range. This aforementioned frontal boundary also brought a rise in snow levels increasing river levels, especially those west of the Willamette valley to the coast.
