Mesonet AT297 Pacific City measured a peak gust of 61 mph on 12/18 0129 PST and was near or above 58 mph from 12/18 0100 to 12/18 0300.

Wider weather episode

The passage of a warm frontal boundary and mature surface low facilitated high winds along the coast into the coast range. This aforementioned frontal boundary also brought a rise in snow levels increasing river levels, especially those west of the Willamette valley to the coast.
