Event narrative

Snowfall totals for the event ended up in the 4 to 6 inch range across much of the southern part of the county. A high report of 7 inches was reported near Leader.

Wider weather episode

A clipper system moved through the Northland on the 11th into the 12th bringing snowfall to much of the region. The track of the system shifted a bit more to the south than expected and brought higher snowfall amounts of 5 to 7 inches from the Brainerd Lakes area eastward into the I-35 corridor with some areas seeing almost 8 inches by the time snow ended during the evening of the 12th.
