Event narrative

Snowfall totals for the event were in the 4 to 6 inch range across the northern part of the county. The highest report was 6 inches in Brule.

Wider weather episode

A clipper system moved through the Northland on the 11th into the 12th bringing snowfall to much of the region. The track of the system shifted a bit more to the south than expected and brought higher snowfall amounts of 5 to 7 inches across the northern parts of Douglas and Bayfield counties were some lake enhancement occurred. A high report of 9 inches was reported south of Cornucopia in northern Bayfield County with this system.
