Several reports of measured winds gusts in the 45 to 55 mph range with some power outages and downed branches.

Wider weather episode

Strong low pressure was located across Hudson and James Bay on January 27th while a cold front from this system approached northern NY. Strong WSW wind gusts of 45 to 60+ mph accompanied the front across northern NY which led to scattered power outages.
