Fire dept reported several trees blown down around Clarkesville and vicinity, with one tree down on the fire station. At Least one business outside of town had roof damage.

Wider weather episode

A broken line of low-topped heavy rain showers and embedded thunderstorms developing ahead of a cold front moved across northeast Georgia around daybreak. The showers and storms produced areas of strong-to-damaging wind gusts.
