A cold front and upper-level disturbance passed across the area, bringing snowfall to much of northwest South Dakota during the daytime and early evening hours. Snowfall amounts across far northwest South Dakota were mostly in the 2 to 4 inch range, with amounts to near 6 inches in the Lemmon area.
