Law enforcement, among multiple trained spotters, reported snow in excess of a foot and a half in and around Lewistown. The peak report was of 2 feet in Lewistown proper.

Upper level troughing initially brought a round of strong winds across Central and North-central Montana before the event transitioned to a long duration snowfall event, mostly for the mountains and northerly upslope areas of Central Montana. Areas in the Bears Paw and around Lewistown received 2 feet of new snow or more.
