A trained spotter 3SSE of Raynesford and a coop observer in Stanford both reported storm total snow in excess of 6 inches. The trained spotter near Raynesford reported 12 inches new snow while the coop in Stanford reported 7 inches new snow.

Wider weather episode

Upper level troughing initially brought a round of strong winds across Central and North-central Montana before the event transitioned to a long duration snowfall event, mostly for the mountains and northerly upslope areas of Central Montana. Areas in the Bears Paw and around Lewistown received 2 feet of new snow or more.
