Two to three inches of snow and sleet mix fell across coastal New Hanover county. Increase in vehicle incidents morning of the 23rd due to ice per 911. County offices and numerous schools closed.

Upper level trough and offshore low pressure combined with cold air already in place due to Arctic high pressure to bring two to six inches of snow and sleet to southeast NC.
