Snotel stations reported 7 to 13 inches of snow across the area with the heaviest snow report being 12.6 inches of snow at Columbine Snotel, which is near Rabbit Ears Pass. This caused U.S. Highway 40 to be snow covered and slippery, leading to slow travel.
