Snowfall amounts were generally under 6 inches across most of Douglas County, but some areas near Superior received right around 6 inches with a high report of 6.1 inches on the southwest side of Superior.

An area of low pressure moving across southern Manitoba into northwestern Ontario brought snowfall to the Northland starting around midday on the first and continued into the morning of the second. Snowfall amounts were generally under 6 inches across most of Douglas County. Slightly heavier snowfall was received around Superior in the northwestern part of the county.
