The wider storm

A quick-moving upper-level wave pushed through Colorado, bringing enough synoptic lift and moisture to bring snowfall to large portions of the area, along with a cold front passing over the eastern plains. This also came with breezy winds and cold temperatures across most of southeast Colorado.
