National Gridded Snowfall Analysis indicated storm totals of 6 to 12 inches at elevations between 4000 and 6000 feet, with up to 24 inches over the higher terrain. Precipitation amounts in the zone included 1.42 inches at Long Prairie. During the afternoon and evening of 12/13, peak wind gusts were recorded of 65 mph at Van Bremmer and 67 mph at Pluto's Cave.

A low pressure system moving into the west coast brought heavy snow to elevations above 4000 feet in northern California. A secondary, trailing disturbance brought an additional, lighter snow accumulation during the day of 12/14.
