Strong southerly winds along the Curry County Coast included Flynn Prairie with peak winds of 34 mph gusting to 73 mph. Also, Humbug Mountain at US101 MP306.35 at 48 mph gusting to 81 mph.
The wider storm
A strong low moving southeast out of the Gulf of Alaska and its associated cold front brought strong southerly winds to the southern Oregon coast.
