Numerous SNOTEL sites reported 12 to 15 inches of new snow.

Wider weather episode

A Pacific system moved into western Wyoming and brought heavy snow to the Tetons, Salt and Wyoming Range and the Star Valley. Snowfall amounts of 12 to 16 inches were common in the mountains. In the Star Valley, snowfall totals ranged from 8 to 15 inches.
