Heavy snow fell throughout the Salt and Wyoming Range. The highest amount recorded was 23 inches at the Snider Basin SNOTEL site.

Wider weather episode

A feed of Pacific moisture brought a long lived snow event to the western mountains between Christmas and New Years Day. New snowfall amounts approached 2 feet in the Tetons as well as the Salt and Wyoming Range.
