Snowfall measured at one and one half inches was reported.

Wider weather episode

A broad area of snow focused mainly across Oklahoma during the morning and afternoon hours of January 20, 2025. The system moved from northeast to southeast as the southern 2 tiers of Kansas counties received in excess of 1 inch of snow, which tapered off by the very late afternoon. A winter weather advisory was in effect for the episode, and the highest snow totals were found across areas west of Liberal and over Comanche and Barber counties.
