Severe to extreme drought conditions, D2-D3, continued through the month of January over western into parts of central North Dakota. The only notable change was the improvement from D3-Extreme Drought to D2-Severe Drought for either all or most of Golden Valley, Billings, Stark, Slope, Hettinger, Bowman and Adams Counties.
