Visibility of one eighth of a mile was reported in Hanford. Webcams indicated visibility below 1000 feet in Hanford.

Wider weather episode

An upper ridge shifted inland from offshore into California during the morning of February 21. This resulted in light winds and clearing skies in the center portion of the San Joaquin Valley which allowed for some patches of dense fog to develop. While the fog was short lived in most locations, it persisted in Hanford until well after sunrise before lifting into a low cloud deck before dissipating by late morning.
