Snotel sites showed an estimated 7 to 15 inches of snow fell, which led to snow covered roads over Rabbit Ears Pass.

Wider weather episode

Snow moved into northern Colorado late on the 24th and continued into 25th, ending during the evening hours. The heaviest snow occurred over the northern mountains as well as in Boulder. Also, a narrow stretch of heavy snow fell along the base of the foothills west of Fort Collins.
