Wider weather episode
A weak clipper low clipped eastern Kentucky with a round of mainly light snow for many locations south of the Mountain Parkway from the evening of December 2nd into the morning of December 3rd. Most spots picked up one inch or less of accumulation. However, localized orographic enhancement led to a couple inches of accumulation on top of some of the higher mountains and even a lone 4 inch report near the summit of Big Black Mountain.
