Event narrative

Several hangar doors were blown in at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport, which caused damage to at least one aircraft parked inside. Some of the roofing tin was blown out and downwind. At US Highway 80 and VTR Airport Road, tree branches were blown down, and the roof of a building was partially peeled back.

Wider weather episode

As an upper-level disturbance crossed from the Southern Plains into the Midwest, a few thunderstorms developed over portions of Northeast Louisiana. One of these storms caused wind damage at the Vicksburg Tallulah Regional Airport.
