Magee Peak weather station reported a gust of 53 MPH. A reported 900 customers lost power.
Wider weather episode
The region saw widespread snow with a strong moist system moving through the Pacific Northwest. It brought several inches of snow to portions of the Idaho Panhandle on December 18. It was followed by gusty winds near 55 MPH Thursday afternoon.
