Observer reported 17 inches of snow 9 miles West of Lucerne.

The Cascades and northern mountains saw widespread snow with a strong moist system moving through the Pacific Northwest. It brought near a foot of snow on December 25 to 26. Some localized areas near the crest received nearly 18 inches.
