Extreme Drought (D3) wash expanded to portions of the county at the beginning of November with improvement back to Severe Drought (D2) conditions November 26th.

Wider weather episode

By November, the dry conditions apparent across the upper Ohio Valley resulted in expansion of Extreme Drought (D3) conditions to portions of southwest Pennsylvania. This was short lived as rainfall did bring those regions back to Moderate Drought (D1) conditions by the beginning of December.
