Peak gust of 60 mph occurred at the Shirley Basin (PC574) 12 miles south of Shirley Basin at 9:50 AM on February 23rd. Multiple other gusts between 60 and 65 mph were reported in this zone.

Wider weather episode

This was a long duration, CWA-wide high wind event including nearly every zone in the NWS Cheyenne CWA. Sustained winds between 40 and 60mph were seen, along with gusts over 80mph.
