Drought February 1, 2025 – February 28, 2025 · Bedford, Tennessee

What the National Weather Service wrote

Severe to extreme drought conditions from January 2025 improved to moderate to severe drought across Bedford County in February.

The wider storm

An active pattern during the month of February 2025 continued to improve drought conditions across Middle Tennessee. Multiple rain events, including a significant flooding event during the middle of the month, brought an average of 6 to 12 inches of rain to the area. This led to only about 6 percent of Middle Tennessee in severe drought which was an improvement over 30 percent in January. Additionally, none of the area was in extreme drought which again was an improvement from 6 percent the previous month.
