Several trees down across highways 101 and 199 in Del Norte County. Highway 199 was closed for over two hours. The Crescent City ASOS reported wind gusts in excess of 60 mph.

Wider weather episode

A continuous series of storms over the last week brought wind and rain to the area resulting in minor impacts. A stronger storm around Christmas with high wind and heavy rainfall resulting in small stream and river flooding as rain continued after the holiday.
