High winds completely blew off a roof from a farm structure and also caused significant roof damage to a house. In addition, the winds snapped or blew down several trees.

Wider weather episode

A strong cold front approached the Appalachian Mountains on the morning of March 5 due to a deepening area of low pressure across the Great Lakes. The intense pressure gradient along the approaching frontal boundary triggered strong south winds that blew off several roofs and snapped several trees in Carroll and Pulaski counties.
