A band of snow set up across north central South Dakota. 9.5 inches was recorded by the public in Herreid, with 8 inches observed by COOP observers in Pollock and 1 mile southeast of Artas. COOP observers in Bowdle and 2 miles southeast of McLaughlin also recorded totals at 5 inches, with several other reports of 2 to 4 inches scattered across north central and northeast South Dakota.
