Wider weather episode

A storm system developed over the Central Plains and brought strong winds to the eastern plains and snow to the mountains/Palmer Divide which produced snow covered roads. The storm system was slightly weaker and formed farther east then forecasted, resulting in less precipitation and warmer temperatures that produce mainly rain over the plains. The strongest winds were found over the plains where southern Lincoln County saw a wind gust to 81 mph.
