Event narrative

Thunderstorm damage was noted in a west-to-east oriented swath that ran parallel to Orange Ave between S Jenkins Rd and S 33rd St. Several homes in communities adjacent to Orange Ave experienced minor damage to their metal roofs, awnings, and siding. Additionally, the overhang of a local restaurant near the corner of Orange Ave and S Jenkins Rd was flipped onto its roof. Vegetative damage, in the form of broken limbs, and a few uprooted trees were noted along the path.

Wider weather episode

Thunderstorms along and ahead of a cold front produced a EF-2 tornado in Seminole County, as well as wind damage in Okeechobee and St Lucie Counties.
