Snowfall of 3 to 4 inches county-wide.

A deep upper trough over much of the country brought cold air to our region, which when coupled with a weak surface low passing by to our south, resulted in accumulating snow and ice for the area. Snowfall totals ranged from less than an inch across the western Piedmont and Triad to as much as 2 to 4 inches across the Coastal Plain and I-95 corridor.
