The wider storm
A burst of afternoon/evening snow led to travel impacts, including within the Twin Cities metro. This was a particularly busier than normal evening commute due to it being Friday and Valentine's Day.
Snow totals ranged from a trace in southwest MN, 1-3' in east-central MN, and 2-5' in western WI.

5.0 inches in Ellsworth, WI (Pierce).
4.5 inches in Bruce, WI (Rusk).
4.1 inches in Robbinsdale, MN (Hennepin).
4.0 inches in Rushy City, MN (Chisago).
3.8 inches in Isle, MN (Mille Lacs).
3.5 inches in Chetek, WI (Barron).
